  • Resources

There are many different resources and services available. While some of these resources are provided directly by the 13th District Attorney's Office, many others are provided by other agencies in the community listed on the Resources page.

The 13th Judicial District is staffed by attorneys, investigators, support staff and victim advocates who care deeply about those affected by crime. The District Attorney’s Office is dedicated to advocating for your rights and helping you access appropriate resources.

About the District Attorney

Brittny Lewton“My goal while in the office of the District Attorney is to bring justice to the victims of crime in the 13th Judicial District and the communities that are affected by those crimes.

To reach this goal, I will strive to foster positive working relationships with the law enforcement agencies around the district, including reciprocal training between my staff and officers in every county.

In addition, I will ensure that my staff is always professional and helpful when interacting with the public, defendants, and the courts, as well as guaranteeing that my attorneys are experts in identifying the value of a case and either making the appropriate plea offer or fighting vigorously at trial as a result of that examination of facts.

I hope to make what we do as prosecutors more understandable for the general public by engaging in community outreach and helping to educate people of all ages as to the law and the justice system as a whole.

It is an honor and privilege to be the District Attorney of the 13th, and a responsibility that I do not take lightly.”

-Brittny Lewton, 2013
